Tony Hunt named CML Employee of the Year
Michelle Meehan, Pat Treanor and Chris Jones are runners-up.
We’d like to extend our warmest congratulations to Tony Hunt, who has been named CML Employee of the Year for 2015.
Tony has been working for CML for two years, initially as a Garment Technologist but more recently as a National Accounts Supervisor, and was nominated on account of his innovative and proactive approach to his work. He fought off strong competition from runners-up Michelle Meehan, Pat Treanor and Chris Jones.
Neil Truman, who nominated this year’s winner, explained: “Tony was new to the department when we took on a new contract and was instrumental in setting up the embellishment team, alongside supporting individuals’ training needs.
“He has taken full control of the department, from training new staff to organising maintenance for the embroidery machines. Tony’s high standards of work and dedication to improving efficiency speaks for itself through our customers’ satisfaction and improvements within the department.
“Tony’s drive to better himself and take on more responsibilities has seen him promoted to the position of National accounts Supervisor in the last month.”
As Employee of the Year winner, Tony was presented with a trophy and certificate, in addition to £200 worth of Love to Shop gift vouchers. The three runners-up also received certificates and Love to Shop vouchers to the value of £50.
Managing Director Graham Copley said: “I’d like to congratulate Tony on his thoroughly-deserved award. From the offices to the warehouses, we are all one team at CML, and it was great to see so many nominees put forward who all made outstanding contributions to our business over 2015.
"It was difficult to pick a winner and I would like to also congratulate, and offer my deepest thanks to, our runners-up and all of our nominees for their hard work and devotion. Your drive and enthusiasm for your work makes us the company that we are.”
