Race night raises £1250 for Rainbows Hospice.
The date of 11th November was fixed in the calendar for a virtual race night at the South Wigston Conservative Club. With the promise of fun and games the team from CML were again gathered to help raise funds for Rainbows Hospice.
There was a raffle held on the night with prizes ranging from an iPad Air, Samsung tablet, iPod Shuffle, £100 of vouchers for John Lewis and also £100 Love to Shop vouchers to name just a few, all generously donated by Templine, Sky, Freeths, Vacancy Filler, Office Depot as well as ourselves.
Thank you to all who had a flutter and contributed to making our event a runaway success with £1250 raised for our nominated charity, taking our grand total to over £40,000 which is a staggering amount!
Letisha Harbidge, who is part of the team that oversees CML’s charitable work commented, “It was great to see everyone getting together for such a good cause. A fantastic amount was raised on the night, so thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the evening. Our charitable work is an essential part of our core values which we live and breathe.”
Kate Golding, Head of Organisational Giving, added, “All of the team at CML work so hard raising money for Rainbows and we are so grateful for this further support from their race night. It certainly sounds like it was a fun night and this is reflected in the wonderful amount raised.”
