Exports and Internal Sales Officer Pat Treanor is this month's CML 'Employee in the Spotlight.'
Can you sum up an average day in your job?
A large part of my role involves problem solving, as such I’m always given tasks requested from each client that need individual bespoke solutions to fit their requirements, this is a key component of the CML ethos as we always endeavour to provide the best solutions to suit the customer. I also deal with exports, imports and cross trades to provide the best service at the best cost.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The thing I enjoy the most about my position is the challenge it provides every day, whether that’s negotiating with agents for the best price to providing the best solutions to our clients, It's always different.
What do you like most about working for CML?
I enjoy the freedom and support which CML gives me, which helps me to perform at my best and provide a great service to our clients.
Personal career highlight of the year?
My career highlight so far has been to see our profits increase thanks to the new business I've brought in.
Are you organising or taking part in any social, fundraising activities with your colleagues inside or outside of work?
I try to support all CML's fundraising activities, especially when it involves me getting fed!
What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?
I’m off skiing in March which I'm really looking forward to.
