CML holds Halloween fundraiser for Rainbows Hospice
Leading warehouse and logistics experts, Core Management Logistics (CML), recently held a Halloween event in order to raise money for Rainbows Hospice on Wednesday 31st October.
As fundraising is such an important part of CML’s culture, the company again invited everyone to wear their creepy costumes to work on Halloween and donate money to raise funds for CML’s nominated charity, Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.
There was also a pumpkin carving competition so that people could show off their spooky creative skills, across the three sites and the winners were: Rachael Cunningham, Julie Freestone and Laxmi Limbu – congratulations to you all. Thank you to everyone who donated and took part, making the day a ghoulish success with a freaky £76.53 raised for CML's good cause, taking the grand total raised to £44,352.14 which is a staggering amount.
Letisha Harbidge, who is part of the Charity and Events team at CML commented, “Thank you to everyone that took part in this event, either by dressing up, carving a pumpkin or donating! This is a fantastic achievement for the work completed by the Charity and Events team.”
Kate Golding, Head of Organisational Giving at Rainbows, added, “We are so grateful to everyone at CML. They are always so creative with their fundraising and always looking for an opportunity to raise more funds no matter how scary it gets. It’s a spooktacular total amount to have raised.”
