Over the years, the retail sector has seen huge changes in the way goods are delivered, returned and packed, and CML aims to keep businesses up to date with how to deal with this. From a team of industry professionals with a great insight and knowledge in the sector, CML was in a prime position to deliver an informative and engaging webinar and the presentation is available to view here.
CML’s Commercial Director, Kerry Delaney and Business Development Manager, Jane Smith, hosted the session from their offices in Magna Park, Lutterworth, with a total of 120 participants. The one hour webinar covered off topics such as why customers return products, the international returns process, advancing returns technology and exploring the customer online journey. There was a robust Q & A session to close which really gave retailers the chance to challenge some of the key topics that their business was most focused on improving.
As experts in providing retail warehousing and fulfilment solutions to the UK’s leading retailers, CML also discussed more controversial decisions such as whether free returns could be the catalyst for increased Gross Merchandise Value (GMV), Average Order Value (AOV) and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV).
As customers’ expectations continue to increase as the market evolves, it’s more and more important for retailers to understand their customers’ requirements. Kerry Delaney, Commercial Director at CML, commented: “The retail landscape is rapidly evolving and it’s vital that our customers and retailers across the country stay up to date with industry trends. With footfall in store declining and ecommerce growing, retailers have had to adapt their methods of selling goods to suit the needs of consumers. Our webinar aimed to answer some of the frequently discussed queries on returns, and also explore the current landscape on refund processing.”
