CML staff nominated for Marks & Spencer’s One Team award
Four exemplary members of our staff recognised
We are proud to announce that four CML staff were invited earlier this year to a plush awards ceremony at Carden Park Hotel near Chester after being nominated for the Marks & Spencer’s One Team Colleague of the Year award.
The One Team programme is a joint initiative between M&S and its supply chain partners with the ultimate goal of delivering great service to M&S. These awards aim to recognise staff across all of these organisations who have made an outstanding contribution to be nominated for this impressive award. All staff members must have been previously nominated for the M&S One Team Colleague of the Quarter. Prior to this our nominees had all previously won an Employee of the Month award at CML.
Colleagues at CML are encouraged to nominate any staff who they think have gone above and beyond the requirements of their job, demonstrating at least one of four key values and behaviours of the One Team - quality, commitment, innovation and trust.
Our nominees were Warehouse Operatives Ryan Coughlan and Michelle Meehan, Payroll Assistant Shannon Tighe and Freight Operations Manager Pat Treanor. Ryan displayed both quality and commitment and was nominated for his attention to detail and commitment to making a safe and secure working environment. Michelle was nominated for trust, quality and commitment for the additional work and responsibility she took on during a very busy period to ensure customers’ expectations were exceeded.
Shannon was nominated for quality, trust and commitment for stepping up and taking responsibility of payroll and delivering a great service to her colleagues. Shannon was commended as being an enthusiastic and committed member of the team. Pat was nominated for his commitment and quality. His enthusiasm, even when under immense pressure and increasing workload whilst still maintaining and exceeding service levels, demonstrated his ‘can do’ attitude and adds real value to our business.
Graham Copley said: “We were very proud to see so many of our staff nominated for such a prestigious award. M&S’ supply chain is comprised of many thousands of workers so to have four staff among a small pool of nominees for this award is testament to their dedication towards their clients. Ryan, Michelle, Shannon and Pat are all exemplary members of our team and fully deserve this recognition.”
