New CML site to enhance its end to end logistics offering
Logistics expert increases its warehouse capacity by almost 30 per cent with new unit.
End to end logistics expert, CML, is pleased to announce that it has acquired a new distribution warehouse at Magna Park in Lutterworth. The 110,215 sq ft modern unit will be the firm's third warehouse at Magna Park, increasing its total retail distribution space at the park by almost 30 per cent.
As a result of this acquisition, CML, which has contracts with retail giants such as Marks & Spencer, Office Depot, Head and L.K.Bennett, is now forecasting to deliver an increase of fifteen per cent business growth over the next financial year. To help with this continued growth, the company appointed fifty new members of staff earlier this year.
Mark Webb, Managing Director at CML, commented: “Following a significan surge in growth over the past 24 months, it is with great excitement that we are able to announce the acquisition of our third warehousing facility at Magna Park. CML is continuing to go from strength to strength and we are thrilled to have secured the investment to help support our growth and retail clients over the next few years.”
The new facility, which officially opened for business in January, will house a purpose built picking structure and space for over 14,000 pallets on a secure 6.5 acre site. It features an eaves height of 12 metres, eight dock level doors, two ground level doors, state of the art equipment and a secure car park. Conveniently located near to major transport networks, the site is accessible to 85% of the UK population within a maximum of 4.5 hour drive-time.
