Starting in 1990, it has been an exciting journey of expansion and development. This ambition and drive helps us not only provide customer service excellence and support the future needs of our customers; it is central to our growth.

Our commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience has been the bedrock of our growth and success.  We thrive on taking care of the detail, how an item is folded and packed, how it is placed in a box, to considering the right packaging materials.  This attention to detail includes finding the right solution for a retailer, taking into account a good understanding of their routes to market and future growth plans to shape an efficient and effective supply chain.

Our key account management team provides strategic and day to day client support, they fully understand our clients’ business and proactively consider new ideas for innovation and operational improvement. We are proud of our warehousing roots and retail experience and, as a private company with our shareholders actively involved in the management and strategic direction of the business, our culture and values are consistently developed and upheld to ensure continuity of commitment to the customer experience that is part of our heritage.

2018 - Finalist at the UKWA awards

2018 - Awarded Investor in Customers accreditation

Proud to demonstrate our commitment to customer service excellence with the silver IIC award status.

2018 - New website

This has been created to provide a better understanding of CML’s end to end service offering and customer experience.

2017 - Further investment

Increased warehouse resource now 500,000 sq ft. Invested in 60,000 sq ft pick tower to accommodate ecommerce growth. Value Added Services (VAS) work expands to support omni-channel retail growth – over 3 million units handled per annum. Rail operation added to freight forwarding offering. 

2016 - Warehouse expansion

Warehousing added on Magna Park due to ecommerce wins across luxury goods and fashion brands.

2015 - Continued growth

Over 130 million single units picked a year, including full returns management and processing solution.

2012 - World class WMS

Accellos added as primary WMS, chosen for its multiuser configurability, flexibility and reporting suite. 

2008 - Service offering expanded

International freight forwarding capability expanded to include air, road and sea. 

2007 - M&S partnership develops

Partnered with M&S to become holding centre for clothing, home and general merchandise.

2007 - Ecommerce solution

Established full ecommerce solution and management buyout with shareholders actively involved in business growth and development.

2003 - New contract wins

Secured a number of wholesale and retail contracts. 

2002 - Enhanced warehouse offering

Obtained Type A bonded customs warehouse & CFSP authorisation.

1999 - M&S FSV consolidator

Moved to current Magna Park facility as M&S FSV consolidator for hanging and boxed clothing, home and general merchandise.
